=== Position Overview: === <B> Core Manager, BioMicro Center.</B> The MIT BioMicro Center and the Koch Institute Genomics Core are seeking a core manager to join a highly collaborative team supporting a broad range of biological research projects in cancer, infectious disease, environmental health and other and topics in basic and applied biology. The core manager will focus on coordinating the day-to-day operations of the experimental laboratory, oversee the training of technical personnel and researchers on advanced techniques and methods, and be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of the data being produced. The core manager will collaborate with the Director in evaluating and adopting new technologies and ensuring that the BioMicro Center/Genomics Core remain at the cutting edge of technology. <BR><BR> The MIT BioMicro Center / Koch Institute Genomics Core is a core facility that provides genomics and systems biology support and training for researchers in over 100 labs across multiple departments and centers. As such, the ability to understand a broad variety of biological questions and be familiar with adapting existing methodologies to new biological areas will be critical to the success.
